Three Interreg Europe projects nominated for RegioStars Awards 2024
This year, the competition is open to completed projects that match one of the five categories corresponding to cohesion policy objectives:
- A competitive and smart Europe
- A green Europe
- A connected Europe
- A social and inclusive Europe
- A Europe closer to the citizens
We have selected the nominees based on a call for Interreg Europe projects this spring.
RegioStars Awards give recognition to original and innovative projects with potential to inspire other regions. The objective of the RegioStars Awards is to identify good practices and new approaches in regional development.
The RegioStars jury will select the winners. The public will also have a possibility to choose their favourite among the finalists in an public vote between 2 September and 8 October 2024.
The shortlisted finalists will be announced in July. In October, the finalists will present their projects during the European Week of Regions and Cities (8 October). The winners will be revealed in the award ceremony on 9 October in Brussels, Belgium.
We wish the best of luck to all our nominees!
