Potential for learning or transfer
The accesses to the Help Desk highlighted the fundamental needs of migrants for their socio-economic integration in the territory. Based on this information, new initiatives are developed to respond to these needs with new targeted and structured support tools: parentign support, financial education, training and active job search actions aimed at mothers and services for the children of the latter. Furthermore, it is a practice that can be transferred to neighboring communities in order to share the network of contacts and resources effectively.
The approach used ensures that the Help Desk acts both as a support and assistance centre, but also for collecting data (demographic, skills, needs) useful for understanding which public infrastructures to strengthen (educational institutions, public health services, legal desk, employment agencies) on resources and new policies , the local actors to involve and the needs for shaping future active policies in the territory.
