This policy brief focuses on the built heritage of cultural and historical value. It presents the policy context, as well as challenges and experiences of European regions and cities in protecting, conserving, and valorising the heritage buildings.

The policy brief equally includes successful approaches and solutions identified by the Interreg Europe community on the topic and provides recommendations to regional and local policymakers.
